to provide you with years of trouble free operation. Atlas's Engineering Department is fully computerized with state of the art equipment. It is staffed by experienced engineering and design personnel trained to convert your design specification and applicable quality requirements into a custom heat exchanger. This department is anchored by our Chief Draftsman, Manager of Engineering and Chief Engineer with each having over 25 years experience with Atlas. -----Atlas performs thermal designs and ratings using HTRI programs to ensure compliance with customer process requirements. (Acrobat Reader required)  -----The engineering programs, all written by Atlas personnel, integrate the ASME code, TEMA and HEI requirements into identifiable output data which is transported into our CAD programs. The drawings are normally output on an Atlas format, but may also be generated on a customer supplied format. Atlas can supply drawings as a DXF or DWG file on a diskette, by e-mail or on conventional media as a copy. -----Atlas can also provide calculations that show that the heat exchanger will withstand any specified nozzle loads, earthquake loads, wind loads and lifting loads when requested by the customer. |
Bills of material are prepared in data files which are shared over the LAN to ensure the correctness of data from engineering to purchasing to quality assurance and to the warehouse. This in-house system will soon be extended to receiving inspection and to manufacturing. |
